Terms of Service

The terms covering work carried out by Senko Studio: what is agreed, how a project runs, and what each side is responsible for.

Last updated 5 September 2026

Mutual agreement

In choosing to use the services offered by Senko Studio, each client agrees to comply with the legal and independent rules and regulations established by the company.

Senko Studio works with businesses and with individuals. Where you are commissioning work as a consumer rather than in the course of a business, consumer protection law gives you rights that these terms cannot reduce or remove, and those rights apply alongside everything set out below. Where the two conflict, your statutory rights win.

Overview

Senko Studio is an independent web design studio based in Prague, Czech Republic, focused on providing high quality web design services such as website creation and renewal. It is run by Maxim Secenko as a freelance operation rather than an incorporated company.

The terms listed cover the website design and online store services provided by Senko Studio. By booking a project, you agree to the terms set out below.

Payment

Unless otherwise agreed, payment is made in two equal parts: 50% is due upfront, before work begins, and the remaining 50% once the project has been completed and confirmed.

Payment is taken by card or by Revolut.

Senko Studio is not registered for VAT, so prices are quoted without VAT and none is added to an invoice.

Project process

Work begins once a quote has been determined and the details of the website have been discussed with enough clarity to proceed. Timelines depend on the delivery speed option chosen and on how promptly you provide the required information and details.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing copyright-free images, text and any other items required to create your website, and for ensuring that you hold the rights to any material you provide and to distribute it to us.

Ownership

Once a project has been paid for in full, ownership of the website passes to you. However, unless otherwise explicitly specified, Senko Studio retains the right to feature your website as showcase work on its own site.

Cancellation

If you cancel a project part-way through, you will be invoiced for the work already completed. Any part of the upfront payment covering work not yet started may be refunded at Senko Studio’s discretion.

That is the position for business clients. If you are a consumer and you commissioned the work at a distance — through this website or by email, without meeting in person — you are likely to have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within a set period, separately from and in addition to the paragraph above. Nothing here removes it.

Revisions

Each project has a predetermined number of revisions allocated to it. That number can be negotiated, and provided it is not exceeded, you will not be charged extra.

Liability

Senko Studio delivers work with reasonable care and skill, but is not liable for indirect losses, third-party outages, or issues arising from content or changes made by you or anyone else after handover.

Nothing in these terms removes or limits a right you have by law that cannot be removed or limited by agreement.
